Adventures With Angela Continues!

Angela Blogged - "Back to Work!"

"So we are back to work! I am loving every second of it. We were all so happy to see each other. There were lots of hugs and laughter. When we stopped working around Halloween, I was not showing yet. So you can imagine everyone’s surprise at how big my belly has gotten over the past few months. I had to sit next to one male cast member three days in a row, and he got to feel her kick. It got to where we’d sit down, and he’d just put his hand on my belly. It was too cute. (I won’t mention any names because I don’t want to spoil anything about this first episode back! It’s too good!) Oh and everyone is wondering if I’ll go into labor on set! Ha! I already have a plan just in case. Either Paul or Jenna will drive me to the hospital to meet up with my hubby. But hopefully we’ll make it to May, and she’ll be on time and we’ll be done working. Can you imagine Rainn’s jokes about my water breaking during a scene? No thanks."

Second Episode is Called...

"Parking"

NBC's press site has a bunch of photos, none with any spoiler implications and none that are too exciting. But I thought you'd want to know that "Parking" is 30 minutes long, it airs on 4/17 and let's all celebrate that we're talking about TWO new episode already!

So - your chance to chime in is - what could the title "Parking" mean? Head to comments and let's discuss!

Rainn Wilson and Greg Daniels Conference Call

Hello Dunderheads!

I just had an amazing time this afternoon. I was on a media conference call with Rainn Wilson and Greg Daniels for the past 90 minutes. I will have my full interview with them up in the near future, but I wanted to share some tidbits for you that they both shared!

There is new information here, and nothing too spoiler-like, but if you're a puritan for Office, you may want to stop reading now.

For the rest of you, here's some of the fun facts that I've gleaned from the call.

- There was a Christmas Episode mostly finished before the strike. Greg stated that they are going to vulture some of the material from it for the future.

- Rainn Wilson has a Dwight bobble-head on a shelf in his house. His 3 year old son used to love playing with it.

- John Krasinski will be the 'host' of the April 3rd airing of the past four Office episodes and will shows clips from "Leatherheads" too.

- Schrute Space (Dwight's Blog) on NBC.com used to be written by Rainn, however this year he's handed the reigns over to a staff writer to do Schrute Space.

- There was a cameo written for Mackenzie Crook (Gareth Keenan on the BBC "Office") earlier in the show. It never came to pass because Mackenzie was busy with Pirates of the Carribean.

- The producers of "The Office" have a deal with the producers of "Unhitched" so that they could still use Rashida Jones (Karen) on the show. They have one more 'use' left in that current agreement.

- Greg Daniels stated that they are looking into "playing with time" on the show. Kind of like LOST. [I think this means we could see some flashbacks. Wouldn't it be great if they did flashbacks like Friends used to?]

- Angela's real-life pregnancy will not be written into the show (Kate Flannery mentioned this in her blog too). You'll see Angela behind the copy machine a lot.

- We're going to see some of Dwight's ex-girlfriends and those storylines in the future.

So, keep checking back often to see when we put up the full interview!!

Creed Thoughts - A Little Internet Dating

"There are two words that make my heart beat like a giraffe approaching a highway underpass. “Internet” and “dating.” When you put them together, I’m likely to go into convulsions. Up until last week, internet dating was number four on my most-current list of fears. It’s topped only by French-Canadian clowns that don’t wear pants, bodies of water where I can’t see the bottom, and my three remaining uncles. I’ve been on a mission to conquer these fears and that’s why I decided to give internet dating a shot."

Schrute Space - "...the Introduction of Schrutanese"

"We, as a society, have gone backwards when it comes to interpersonal communication. Neanderthals communicated using only grunts and gestures. As time passed on, humans began to overcomplicate language to the point where it is now difficult to accomplish anything because there are too many stupid people and they use too many stupid words. This is why I am proposing the use of a basic universal language for all human beings regardless of race, culture, or physical location."

"Dunder-Mifflin fans, unite! The paper company is returning to regular work. It is I, Meredith, the drunken redhead in the corner. We have some catching up to do. Here's hoping you are not as drunk as I am. I am a pro. As Tom Cruise once said to Jack Nicholson, "You can't handle the booze!" St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching and I have a lot to drink to."

- The kiss in "Casino Night"
- Andy falling in the lake in "Beach Games"

Have I met any of the cast?
I have had my questions answered by Gene Stupnitsky, and Lee Eisenburg in Office Tally chat room...and I received a message back from Lee thanking me for talking to them in otcr.

My Favorite Episodes Are:
- The Dundies
- Casino Night
- The Job

Why do I love the show? So many reasons. First of all it's one of the best shows on TV today, well to me anyway since Friends ended, this is my show that took over its place. I also love all the characters in The Office, they seem so surreal as if they were themselves in the show...they are all such great actors and they seem like they all get along so well...and everyone's chemistry is unreal...(Jim & Pam). I just love the show because it has great storylines....it's so in sync...it's just an awesome show. I could go on and on about the reasons why I love this show...and if im having a rough day all I have to do is pop in a season of The Office and my day gets better. They all make me laugh so much. Just let me say that The Office has a great ensemble and is the BEST show on television today.

Now it's your turn! Tell us why you LOVE The Office! Click HERE for details.

How Did Craig Robinson Stay Busy During the Strike?

Press-Enterprise knows! They have a great interview with Craig Robinson, the man behind Darryl. He talks about his new Kevin Smith movie as well as some other new projects he has coming up. And of course everyone wants to know what's in store for Darryl...

"Darryl will keep showing up, doing his thing and getting out of the way," he said. The fans "sometimes say we need to see more Darryl. I'm like, 'Darryl is happy just to be part of the team, in whatever role he's playing.' "

Read the whole interview by clicking HERE.

And I just HAD to use this old headshot of Craig's... hehe.

Ed Helms "Shreds" it Up with Tony Hawk

OK, so not really. But he's VERY funny on this clip of ShredorDie with Tony Hawk. He even talks about Oompa Loompa song.

Melora Hardin Goes to Les Miserables for One Day More

According to BroadwayWorld.com:

"Well, it was just a matter of time as the Broadway rumor mill had been grinding steadily about the highly-anticipated summer presentation at the Hollywood Bowl of Les Miserables in Concert....

But, the espionage continues. There have been rumblings along the Rialto of people who had been cast in roles and everyone was pretty much sworn to secrecy, as they also knew who else had been hired and the Bowl today confirmed what we sort of already knew, and happily, last night on both coasts, two of the leads - Melora Hardin from The Office was a guest on Carson Daly and Lea Michele who was making her debut at Feinstein's, both told their respective audiences of their excitement at being cast in a show, in which they both admitted to being among an amazing group of performers. But, to their credit, neither of them mentioned anyone else in the cast.

So, last night, in all the chat rooms and blogospheres, people went "insane" with excitement that Hardin was cast as Fantine and Lea Michele will be playing Eponine. The rest of the cast currently in place, and according to the Hollywood Bowl press office are Rosie O'Donnell (Madame Thernardier), Lea Michele (Eponine), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Javert), J. Mark McVey (Jean Valjean), Melora Hardin (Fantine) and Lea Michele (Eponine) and Aaron Lazar (Enjolras)."

Scrantones Concert

Ok,

So, I never really got around to writing about the Scrantones concert that went on during last year's Office Convention. Maybe I still will someday, it was one of the coolest things I've ever been to.

However, I just found this video on YouTube that shows MANY of the cast performances from the show. It's GREAT! Check it out!

CFO Rocks the Scranton St. Patrick's Parade

"The fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. was represented at the parade in the form of company CFO David Wallace.

Actually, it was actor Andy Buckley, the man who plays Wallace on the Scranton-set NBC sitcom “The Office.” Just as he did during his visit here at last fall’s “The Office” Convention, Mr. Buckley donned the familiar Wallace ensemble of suit, tie and glasses so parade-goers would recognize him more easily.

It seemed to work, as Mr. Buckley received a highly enthusiastic ovation as he stood through the sunroof of a black limousine that was part of the Times-Shamrock float contingent. He and parade-goers along Wyoming Avenue traded chants of the show’s catchphrase, “Ain’t no party like a Scranton party, ’cause a Scranton party don’t stop.”"

You can read more at our friends the Scranton Times-Tribune.
