New Adventures with Angela - "NYC Shopping"

Ed Helms in Eddie Murphy's New Movie - "Meet Dave"

Here comes another film where Eddie plays more than one role.

Dave Ming Chang (Eddie Murphy), newly arrived in New York City, may be the ultimate fish out of water. There's something about him that's not quite right – for starters, he seems remarkably out of place and uncomfortable in his own body. And for good reason: "Dave" is not a man at all, but a ship made in the image of its miniature-sized captain. It's Eddie Murphy in Eddie Murphy in 'Meet Dave.'

Directed by Brian Robbinns, who helmed 'Norbit', the cast also includes Elizabeth Banks, Gabrielle Union, Ed Helms, Judah Friedlander, Pat Kilbane.

By the way, did you know that Lance on the show is Sensei Ira from "The Office"?

A Parade of Office Information

Parade Magazine just did a big spread about John Krasinski, and having done so, has now launched an Office specific section of their website.

They have interviews with Rainn Wilson, Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, BJ Novak, and the afore mentioned Mr. Krasinski.

They also have photo albums of them all (the Jenna shots are absolutely beautiful) and they added an Office trivia quiz which was created by the one and only OfficeTally.com

You can see the Parade Office world HERE.

P.S. - I got 29/30 on the Quiz. :)

"The Office" LOVES Boston

Ok, since my blood has pinstripes in it, it pains me to write about this but a lot of the Office crew are big Boston Red Sox fans. Eh, they can't be all perfect I guess.

Boston.com has this little piece about the huge exhibition game in LA between the Dodgers and Red Sox:

"It's been widely reported that tonight's exhibition game between the Red Sox and the Dodgers will draw the biggest crowd ever to watch a baseball game, and as you might expect, there'll be few boldfaced BoSox fans in the sea of Dodger blue. "Grey's Anatomy" actress and Everett native Ellen Pompeo is expected to attend with husband Chris Ivery, as is Ellen's castmate, Mainer Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey. (His peeps said he'd make at least one of the Sox's three weekend games on the West Coast.) LA top cop Bill Bratton was set to bring wife Rikki Klieman, and Medford's Maria Menounos told us she wouldn't miss it. Boston-bred actors Jonathan Moss Tucker and Jeffrey Donovan were on board, as was "The Office" gang, including Steve Carell, B.J. Novak, and John Krasinski. We'll bet the LA Coliseum hasn't played host to so many Bostonians since John F. Kennedy delivered his acceptance speech at the 1960 Democratic National Convention. Of course, some of the Sox super fans will be MIA, including actors Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Mike O'Malley, and "Hostel" director Eli Roth, who told us he'll be busy celebrating Quentin Tarantino's birthday in Las Vegas."

And, I guess I can't NOT post this whole John Krasinski loves Boston stuff over at Boston Magazine.

Steve Carell on Nick's Teen Choice Awards Tonight

According to timesunion.com, Steve Carell will be one of the celebrity presenters at tonight's Kid's Choice Awards on Nickelodeon.

Jack Black is the host.

"Choice" takes place just in time to pulverize the kids with promotions for the summer's big movies. Celebrity presenters and entertainers include Cameron Diaz, Steve Carell, Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Chris Brown, Hayden Panettiere and many others."

John Krasinski Unscripted

Just incase you didn't know that John Krasinski is in a movie called Leatherheads with George Clooney, here's an interview with them both from Moviefone's Unscripted line of interviews.

Creed Thoughts - March 27, 2008

"When will all these crazy dreams stop? They’ve been going on for at least a week and every night they get crazier and crazier. Usually I try to use my dreams to figure out stuff that’s going to happen in the future like lottery numbers and horse race winners, but recently my subconscious has declared war on my brain."

Greg Daniels Discusses Strike with Hollywood Panel

Hollywood Reporter states:
"So, where do we go from here?

That was the question posed Tuesday to a panel of industry leaders at the Hollywood Radio & Television Society's Newsmaker Luncheon -- a little more than six weeks after the 100-day WGA strike came to an end. The answer still seems unclear.

When the strike ended, "The Office" executive producer Greg Daniels said, Universal Media Studios, which produces the NBC comedy, took writers from several of its shows out for a nice dinner to make amends. Since then, he said, things haven't been as contentious between the networks/studios and writers as they were during the strike.

"The executives in the scripted entertainment department are glad to see the strike over, and all I get (from my writers) is relief to be back to work," he said, adding that his writers are at work on another set of "Office" webisodes, following the 10 that became available in summer 2006 on NBC.com."

Variety has:
""The Office" exec producer Greg Daniels said he believed the sacrifice made by scribes wouldn't be made up by their new gains, but that it was a price they had to pay for future generations.

"If our kids want to be writers, they'll have a better framework," he said."

Good Morning America Sides with BJ Novak

At least they do in the great shrinking Cadbury Egg plot!!

"Many consumers got their first glimpse of the practice last year when actor BJ Novak appeared on Conan O'Brien's late-night talk program and showed him the size difference between a Cadbury egg of today and one from just a few years ago.

"What does Cadbury think they're pulling?" a shocked O'Brien said.

On its Web site, Cadbury said that the size of the eggs in the United Kingdom had stayed the same, but that its U.S. partner Hershey had decided to make them smaller for the states."

This ran this morning on GMA and they used the footage with BJ Novak on Conan O'Brien. You can read the article (including a link to the video) by clicking HERE.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go open my smaller, yet still tasty, Cadbury eggs.
